The T70214 EV-DBW is a Raymarine drive-by-wire autopilot with p70Rs control unit and direct connection to Volvo IPS / Aquamatic systems.

he Evolution EV-DBW Drive By Wire (DBW) autopilot controls the latest electronic steering systems such as Volvo IPS or DPH, ZF Pod Drives and Teleflex Optimus. This system guarantees extremely precise control without any calibration being required.

The EV-DBW consists of the p70Rs control unit and the EV-2 sensor.

The Evolution EV-2 Core heading sensor is designed for state-of-the-art autopilot systems and connects directly to Raymarine's SeaTalkng system and also has a CAN bus connection for direct connection to Teleflex Optimus 360, Volvo Penta IPS or ZF POD Drive.

With the CAN bus connection, the EV-2 eliminates the need to install an actuator unit (ACU), further simplifying its installation.
Simplifies pilot installation and does not require calibration. It comes integrated with a 9-axis electronic compass and a heading processor. This sensor features IPX6-IPX7 protection for under-deck installation.

Raymarine's EV-2 Core uses SeaTalkng connectivity for a single power and data connection to the control unit (ACU) which transmits the power and signal to these systems.
