IC-F61 ATEX - UHF Transceivers (ATEX version)

This model comes with the UT-110 compatible Voice Scrambler function. It is a fairly robust radio, ready to use in any situation in places considered dangerous, such as oil rigs where flammable or explosive gases or liquids are used or in other potential explosive environments.

With ATEX approval, this radio has a secure 2-way communication, preventing explosions or fire occurrences in areas considered dangerous.

The approved standard for this equipment is the II2G EEx ib IIA T3.

The IC-F61 ATEX comes with the standard 1700mAh lithium-ion battery, BP-227AX, capable of providing stable power and a practical 13-hour operating time. The built-in LCD screen has a capacity of 8 characters and 14 numeric alpha segments with a backlit background for use in dark or night time environments.

This radio also has the functionality of 2-Tones, 5-Tones, CTCSS and DTCS for group communications or selective calling. Up to 7 different functions can be assigned to different radio buttons.
