The field of view was increased to 133 meters (8x32 version) making it easier and quicker to spot birds and animals. Steiner perfected the Distance-Control-System in its Discovery Series of birding binoculars and it is also available in the SkyHawk 3.0 series. By presetting of the distance, this system guarantees a faster recognition.

The Fast-Close-Focus lets you focus on objects as close as 2 meter within seconds with only one turn of the focusing wheel. The patented twist-Up Eyecups easily adjust for optimal exit pupil distance to ensure a full field of view – even for spectacle wearers.

The legendary Steiner ruggedness can be found in the new Steiner SkyHawk 3.0 series. The binoculars are waterproof to up to 3 meters due to the nitrogen pressure system that uses a patented 2-way-valve technology to prevent the formation of condensation and internal fogging.
