The new Mastervolt Lithium Ion battery MLI-E 12/1200 closes the gap between the very compact MLS battery and the successful high capacity MLI Ultra 2500 and 5000 series. Also the MLI-E 12/1200 is ideal for applications where long lifespan, light weight, fast charging and compactness are key. And with its practical form factor the MLI-E 12/1200 is especially suitable for mobile applications.

Lithium Ion has many advantages over lead-acid, meaning the MLI-E 12/1200 saves up to 70% in space and weight, recharges in less than an hour, and deep cycles 5.000 times without damage, which is up to 10 times longer than lead-acid batteries. Also for the MLI-E 12/1200 the extremely safe Lithium Ion chemistry (LiFePO4) is used.

The MLI-E 12/1200 has an integrated battery management system including a safety disconnect, which protects the battery from deep discharging, overcharging and overheating. Eliminating the need for an external safety relay makes the MLI-E 12/1200 very easy to install. Together with its waterproof plastic case, the MLI-E is a straight-forward replacement for most lead-acid batteries.

The MLI-E 12/1200 also has integrated battery monitoring which provides details about the status from your battery, including voltage, current, temperature, state of charge and time remaining. Its CAN communication ensures a seamless integration with Mastervolt products, via our system monitor EasyView 5, or with other electrical components in your power system. Hands on monitoring is also possible via Bluetooth and LED indicators inform you about the actual status of your battery. An automated, intelligent power system within easy reach.
